Professor Emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is the pioneer of ART program in the region. He established the 1st IVF Center of Pakistan in 1984 after getting training from Monash University Melbourne. He has got singular honor of being invited as an examiner by RCOG , London, UK (1985). He was member of National Maternal Mortality Committee. He was Director of Pakistan PIEGO Programmed, 1974 onwards. He was inspector of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. (Have Inspected most of the Medical College in Pakistan on behalf of P.M.D.C). Examiner for F.C.P.S from 1976 to 2006. He has been convenor and Examiner of C.P.S.P for 20 years. Past Chairman Royal College Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Representative Committee, London. He was Elected Member of FIGO Executive Board, London. He was Project Director, Safe Motherhood Project (Kasur Distt). He was founder President of SAFOG. He is past President of SOGP.
He attended a Workshop on I.V.F Monash University Melbourne, Australia (November, 1984). He was associated with Assisted conception Unit of King’s College Hospital, London, UK. He was Chairman World Congress academic Session (FIGO) Washington, Chile, Kuala Lumpur. He delivered the 1st “Test Tube Baby” of Pakistan on 6th July 1989. He organized successful Programmed of I.V.F in Pakistan. He is Founder President, I.V.F Society of Pakistan. The Society is member of International Federation of Fertility Society. (I.F.F.S).
